Working Principle

The ceramic filter plates rotate partially submerged in slurry tanks. Under vacuum pressure, capillary action inside the ceramic micropores draws liquid through the plate while solids remain on the surface to form a filter cake. After cake formation and dewatering, the dried material is discharged by scraper systems, and the plates are cleaned automatically for continuous operation.
